1. She started playing guitar at age 42.
2. The background for the Mydols website, is Judy’s house.
3. Judy has written several of the Mydols lyrics.
4. The Mydols have performed on many national TV shows such as the Today Show, CBS Morning Show and Inside Edition
5. Judy wrote her book, Rock Star Mommy in about 4 months.
6. She has been the regional coordinator for Mamapalooza since 2005.
7. Her next book project is currently in the planning stages.
8. Judy has appeared in the People Magazine, USA Today, Wall Street Journal and many other national magazines.
9. She was recently featured on Donny Deutsch’s cable show, The Big Idea (see her site)
10. She lives in Royal Oak, Michigan, with her husband and her two sons.

Because it’s hard to find stuff with our name on it.. you know what I mean. On a trip, in the souvenir shop, browsing fun stickers, key chains, etc.. We’ve all looked in the “K” section, but never, ever see “Karlyn”. There’s usually variations of Karyn, Caryn, Carly, Caroline, even Karol, but never Karlyn. And after a few years of searching, we eventually give up looking of course.
