Google Voice

Back in November 2007, I began using and posted news of, a very handy phone message service called Grand Central. You can see that original post here. At the time, you had to be invited by a member to start using it. Almost 2 years later, I’m still receiving invite requests, so I thought it time to update since Grand Central is now Google Voice. I was so impressed with the smooth move from Grand Central to Google Voice and the many pluses this service offers, including the options to:

.. ring calls through to multiple destinations.
.. block and screen calls
.. send, receive forward and store SMS text messages
.. check your voice-mail online, read it via email or text
.. create personalized voice-mail messages per contact
.. group your contacts and manage their preferences on a group level
.. conference call, record a call and more..
