Since around 1998 ‘ish, I have been puting together websites for myself, clients, friends and family. In 2000, I decided to be official and go from a free site service to my own dot-com.  My first dot-com and now officially my oldest site, is MomsRewards.com.

Fast forward.. Ten years and a dozen domains later.

A few of the websites didn’t last. For whatever reason, I gave them up. However, nine remain, and these are all my babies.

I’m not done yet though.. Why?  It’s fun. I really enjoy it… the whole process: from the planning, to the design, to the adding of content. In fact; it’s a little disappointing to me when I eventually finish and call it completed.  Though; it is nice to publish it and “let it fly”, so to speak.

I have no plans to create any more sites and am quite busy maintaining the ones I have, and helping friends with theirs. You never know though. The ideas are always swimming around.

I was never much into scrapbooking, but got an invite to spend some time at scrapblog and really enjoyed my time there. Got some photos you might like to dress up and share? So, after getting my mini all made up, I decided I wanted to display it on my blog. Then I thought it would be nice to add some bling to it.. you know, badge bling. So, I edited the mini graphic to display some of my favorite pogo badge icons and buttons. I realized this makes for a nice pogo-related signature as well. I added it to my profiles at MyPogoSpot and at PogoAddicton. That brings me here, where I’m posting on my blog and offering something to you.

Yes, I’m quite a fan of this show. I think it’s unique, charming and fun. The cast has great chemistry, obviously love what they do, and I haven’t even mentioned the talent yet.. they sound great! It’s nice to have a quality show back on the air.. One that is positive, sounds good and most of all – feels good. I plan to feature more info about the show and it’s cast in the weeks and months ahead.

Glee is an American musical comedy-drama television series that airs on Fox. It focuses on a high school show choir (also known as a glee club), called “New Directions!”, set within the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio. 2010 is here and in full swing. On this 11th day of this first month, of this new year, I find myself thinking about the changes I made in 2009 and my hopes for the months ahead in 2010. I don’t normally do the whole resolutions thing, but I do see the importance of contemplating what’s most important, setting goals and making plans for oneself.. whether that be on January 1st, or April 1st. It’s just a good idea.

So, back in August of 2009, I posted briefly about trying out a vegetarian lifestyle.  I started a vegetarian diet in July ‘09 actually, and it stuck. I enjoyed it, and still do – 7 months later. I can’t do Vegan as it’s just too restrictive for me, but the Pescetarian way suits me very well. This is a change I plan to keep and continue with for a long time to come.. along with consuming more whole foods and organic foods in general. It makes me feel good, healthy and positive. I’m trying to also exercise more, though I’m not much of an exercise fan. My work on the computer finds me quite sedentary, so I have to make myself stop working, get up, out, and active. I take a walk almost every day which helps too.

Back in October, I posted information about some pain I was experiencing and researched. Cubital tunnel syndrome is what I diagnosed myself with, and unfortunately, am still dealing with. It got worse in December and then just recently, in the last couple of weeks, has improved some.. so I have hope that it is finally healing. I have spent quite a lot of time with the one of those ACE bandages on.. the one for the elbow, which I think has helped. I’m hopeful it is getting better.. slowly.

For years now, it’s been an important pursuit of mine to be positive. I’ve been trying to make physical and emotional changes in my life that promote positivity in and around me. It’s not always easy, but it will always be something I work on/strive for and I think I’m doing pretty well. I see this as so much more than just a positive attitude.. it’s a way of life. It’s what you seek, what you promote, what you say and what you do.  It’s my belief that when you give out positive energy, you receive it back as well. I think it’s a conscience choice people make. Positive, Negative.. they are directions. You can choose one direction or the other.

I hope your new year is off to a good start so far. If you’ve set goals or made plans for yourself, I wish you success with them. Whatever you do, I hope much happiness follows.
